the Groesbeck community. We provide current information on events, services and programs that are available through the Groesbeck Chamber members.
Home to around 4328 residents, Groesbeck is a great place to live and a great place to explore for a day or a weekend of history, nature, good food, shopping, and just plain fun. The bustling city in Central Texas, is rich in history, surrounded by recreation and overflowing with great people. It is home to great camping and fishing experiences at Lake Limestone and Ft. Parker State Park. While here you can check out historic Old Ft. Parker and the Confederate Reunion Grounds, all just minutes away. There are excellent medical and dental facilities, schools, a library, Limestone County fairgrounds, and a museum. And there's always that friendly home-grown atmosphere.
Groesbeck is located on State Highway 14 and 164, just 35 miles from IH 35 at Waco to the west, and only 30 miles from
IH 45 to the east, we are 2.5 hours from Houston, and approximately 2 hours from Dallas.
The Groesbeck Area has a past, rich in history and a present, rich in community. We hope you will come and visit.

Groesbeck City Drug, 404 S. J.B. Riggs Dr. held its grand opening Saturday, September 28th with the event including a ribbon cutting sponsored by the Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce. The Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting on Saturday May 4th at 9:30 a.m. for Diamonds and Dust which is located at 215 W. Navasota. The business is owned and operated by Lorraine and Scott Smith. Lorraine Smith is shown cutting the ribbon.
The Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting for the new CELLULARONE office in Groesbeck on Friday March 29th at 11 a.m.. The office is located at 101 W. Navasota here in Groesbeck. CELLULARONE personnel in the picture are Georgia Hunt, administrative assistant; Kirk Revell, area director; Dan Mark, district manager; and Nathan Hulett, store manager; and also Samantha Couch, Angelique Dennix, Misti Staples, and Angela Grippe. Chamber of Commerce Banquet
The Chamber of Commerce presented the Citizen of the Year Award, the Business of the Year Award, the Organization of the Year Award, the Elementary Educator of the Year Award, Middle School Educator of the Year Award, and the High School Educator of the Year Award. The Groesbeck Study Club presented the Woman of the Year Award. All these awards were announced during the Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
Other awards were announced prior to the banquet with the actual awards being presented to the recipients at the banquet.
The Business of the Year Award for 2012 is Kleen-Air of Groesbeck.
The Organization of the Year Award for 2012 is The Prime Time Mounted Drill Team
