Home to around 4328 residents, Groesbeck is a great place to live and a great place to explore for a day or a weekend of history, nature, good food, shopping, and just plain fun. The bustling city in Central Texas, is rich in history, surrounded by recreation and overflowing with great people. It is home to great camping and fishing experiences at Lake Limestone and Ft. Parker State Park. While here you can check out historic Old Ft. Parker and the Confederate Reunion Grounds, all just minutes away. There are excellent medical and dental facilities, schools, a library, Limestone County fairgrounds, and a museum. And there's always that friendly home-grown atmosphere.
Groesbeck is located on State Highway 14 and 164, just 35 miles from IH 35 at Waco to the west, and only 30 miles from
IH 45 to the east, we are 2.5 hours from Houston, and approximately 2 hours from Dallas.
