Groesbeck Schools and Healthcare

The  Groesbeck Community is proud of its excellent school system.  An average  of 1840 students attend GISD public schools.  The caring, dedicated  staff helps each student and partners with parents to provide their  children with the best possible education.  Parents are encouraged to be  involved with the education of their children by visiting classrooms,  volunteering their help, and offering ideas of improvements.
The  school system prides itself on having a small town atmosphere with a  varied and challenging curriculum.  High academic standards are  maintained and a number of extracurricular activities are offered.   Students can participate in school plays, basketball, football, track,  volleyball, tennis, baseball, golf, future farmers of america (FFA)  activities and more.
